There are two ways that together help explain reality and are useful for understanding God’s action.

The first way is a way of thinking. One thinks of God as the head of everything, governing reality. His intent is the good of each individual. If God has no lobbies or other interests, He will seek to maximize each individual's well-being, that is, to obtain their scientific maximum. In other words, it can be said that God, in the reality we live, seeks the scientific maximum of each person, according to the various conditions in which we find ourselves.

The second way of seeing is God “playing” for us. That is, He undertakes a series of actions and everything else with the goal of achieving an end. If one reasons carefully and scientifically, one can understand that our best behaviour is to play exactly the same games as God.

During our days, 99.99% of what happens around us – politically, economically, socially, etc. – is unknown to us. We do not know what to ask of God, and therefore of the various systems at play, nor what spiritual actions to undertake. By doing God, by playing the same games as God, we assure and guarantee Him, the systems, and essentially everything, that we want to obtain the scientific maximum, and furthermore, we place ourselves in the spiritual conditions to obtain it, which is an essential condition to achieve the scientific maximum.

Over time, an equilibrium forms around us, an equilibrium also of Nash, which through successive steps, that is, successive equilibria, guarantees us the result according to our given conditions.

It is clear that doing exactly the games of God – or, more broadly, being God – due to the first way of thinking, is both the scientific maximum for ourselves and for each and every other being, both sentient and non-sentient. That is, it is the collective maximum, given by the sum of each individual’s maximums. This implies that it is good for the communities we live in, for the churches we believe in, etc. And since if everyone played God’s games, they would obtain their scientific maximum, the reduction of the maximum for even a single individual is a reduction of the maximum for the collectivity: the extent to which the scientific maximum is reduced for an individual is the extent to which it is reduced for the collectivity.
